The moment I stepped onto the campus of John R Wooden, I could feel the love and sense of community from the students and my fellow colleagues. When they say that we are a "family" here, that really is no lie! I can truly say that coming to work every day never feels like a job, and I am right where I belong.
My educational background includes; a BA in Psychology from Cal State Northridge, Teaching Credential from UCLA and MA in Education. I teach social studies at John R Wooden and really enjoy ensuring that my students are engaged in fun and exciting learning activities on a regular basis. My hope for all of my students, present and former, is that they succeed at everything they set their mind on achieving. I believe in helping them set goals that are attainable, achievable, and will set them up to be successful members of our community. Students leave our campus with the tools they need to be college and career ready. I look forward to being around JRWHS for as long as they will have me!
