Hobbies: Tennis, Hiking, Reading
I grew up in a small town in Idaho, attended college in Washington State, moved to Arizona for a couple of years before landing in Los Angeles. I came to Aliso High School/John R. Wooden High School after teaching for two years at a local junior high. Once I came to Wooden, I knew that I had found my home away from home, a home where I have “lived” for 25 years. I am married and have two children both in college, a daughter who is a senior and a son who is a freshman.
The expectations that I have for my students are very simple: be respectful to all staff and peers, to do the best they can academically, and to give back to the community. The staff, students, parents, and alumni have made JRWHS a very special place to work and to attend. I feel very privileged to be able to come to this amazing place on an almost daily basis.
